DeleteJames And The Giant peach
ReplyDeleteBy Roald Dahl
illustrated by Quentin Blake
summary
Once upon a time, James Trotter's parents went shopping in London, but a hippo escaped the zoo and ran to Jame's parents and ate James parents, and when James got the news he was sobbing in his house next to the beach. James was told he had to go live with his mean grumpy aunts named aunt spiker and aunt sponge, James was sad because they were mean and wouldn't give James any care, so James's aunts would make James their servants. James once found a person that sold some looked magical green seeds James bought the seeds, and James planted the seeds beside the peach tree. The next day James found a peach in the peach tree after a few days the peach grew ginormous so James' aunts took it to the next level his aunts made if you want to see the big peach you must spend money.
Aunt spiker said, "you must spend more money to be in the camera." After the day James was told he must clean all the paper left outside, but James was so hungry he took some bites off the big peach and James found a door so James went inside then James found giant bugs a spider, a ladybug, silkworm, worm, grasshopper, and a firefly James was shocked because one of the bugs said "we have been waiting for you."one day the peach had grown too big and the peach flew off to the ocean with James and one-day sharks tried to eat the peach so they used silk of the silkworm to grab 300 seagulls so they can escape the sharks so they did and the spider checked the damage and there wasn't that much damage they didn't believe the big spider.
what I feel about the book
I am going to stop there because I want you to read this interesting book. I like the book because it feels like it was an adventure because James was traveling through the ocean with seagulls flying the peach to different parts of the ocean it felt like they were going to a mystical island to me.

ReplyDelete-Book title: Diary of an 8-bit warrior
Delete-Author: unknown.
and illustrator: Saboten last name unknown
-Summary: This Minecraft villager wants to be a warrior and his arch enemy Max also wants to be a warrior and basically there's this school that teaches you combat crafting building and stuff like that the top 5 students that ace every subject will become a warrior and it's the main character's dream to be a warrior so they start training and the main characters arch enemy comes and bully's him then some random stuff happen that I'm not going to say because that going
to spoil the story and stuff like that anyways there's this other kid called Pebble at first I personally didn't really care about Pebble and before I go any further into this summary there are a lot of books of this series even I haven't finished it yet and I'm talking about the first book only so I just wanted to put it in there just in case of any confusion now back on topic.
the main character see's Pebble. (the kid I didn't care about at first) BULLYING HIS ARCH ENEMY and then that the end DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
-Setting: Minecraftia / Minecraft
-Main Characters: Runt the main character, Max is EX arch enemy, Pebble the very very very bad bully that is supposedly worse then Max because he was bulling Max and 2 other main character that shall not be named because they are in book 2 3 and 4.
I would give this book a 4.5/5 because I did NOT really like the first book but I thought it would make more sense because if I was to talk about the 4th book you would all just be confused
I think readers that like a bit of humor in there books would enjoy this SERIES of books.
I don't OUT OF THE WORLD like it so yeah it's because I don't really like the first book of like... anything and in my opinion the first books are all intro's to the BIGGER and BETTER books that will still not be named because you know... spoilers.

DeleteTitle:WAYSIDE SCHOOL IS FALLING DOWN
ReplyDeleteAuthor:Louis Sachar
summary:Miss Mush is known to be a terrible chef, and that is why she is so famous. everyone talks about her everywere, at school,at home, and just everywere
Her speciatie dish is called mushroom suprise. The mushroom suprise contains mushrooms and a bunch of unknown ingredients. it is basically a glowing, green dish served on a plate. A lot of people has ordered it in the past but for some reason no one orders it any more.
For picture day you have to wear the crazyiest outfits. And if you do then you will fit right in between Maurecia in her striped bikini and calvin, who is wearing his birthday tattoo.
setting: Wayside School
Main characters: Mrs jewls, Mrs gorf, Sharie, Paul, Todd, Sammy and Rondi
I would rate this book a 4.9 out of 5 stars because the was very good and I could not put it down BUT it did get me in trouble because I would stay up past my bedtime and read it. But that was a HUGE mistake because while my parents were tring to go to sleep every 2 seconds they would hear me laugh because the book was tooooooo funny.
I would recommend this book to people that love funny books AND LOVE getting in trouble because after you pick the book up and start reading you put it down.

Title: Shaken
ReplyDeleteAuthor of the book: Eric Walter
Settings: Port-au, Prince and Haiti
The start of the book: His father continuing his sermon..... his prayer. He knows everything about the bible, and he could throw out a good sermon, prayer, and service. His father had an impressive repertoire as well rehearsed ad libs, set pieces, and quotes that all sounded completely spontaneous, As his father continued his prayer, he couldn't help it and he's thinking what happened if all Muslims had gathered to praise Allah and say prayers before they got on a plane.
What happened: Philippe trudged forward, a bag of cement on his shoulder. He was bent under it's weight, but he still moving faster and faster than his thought he had any right of it. Philippe was reed-thin and the bag is very very incredibly heavy than he thought. They knew how heavy the bag it is because they'd heaved a few of their self, and he was a lot of bigger than him, not just taller but bigger. He had to outweighed him by thirty pounds, and the weight of that bag had staggered than his legs. At the start, he's moving pretty faster than Philippe, but now four hours into their work. He'd slowed down, while Philippe kept working as exactly the same pace. He guess in part was because of the heat which is he wasn't used to or the jet lag, or the fact that he'd easily slept all that night before. Philippe dropped the bag to the ground and then took a machete and cut on the top, and rest a bit because Philippe got tired because of his running.
At the end: They made their way through the streets, surrounded by the twelve men. He had his arm around to Naomi, not just a shelter her but to help keep her on her feet. She was now stunned that she wasn't even reacting to what was happening around her. It was as if she wasn't even aware there was anything that could go wrong about it.
Characters: Philippe, Josh, Sarah, Josh's father, Naomi.
I rate this book infinity out of 5, because all of the paragraphs are really really detailed and I can feel the imagined if this is happened with my real story and it's also interesting too.
